Writing a bio has never been my favorite thing, but here we go. I’ve been an avid athlete and outdoors enthusiast since the age of 5 when I played youth soccer and started camping with my folks. With a background in competitive snowboarding and a newly competitive runner, I’ve always enjoyed pushing myself in sports from mountain biking to wakeboarding to backpacking. Consequently, I suffered several injuries and have been so blessed to find healing with the help of some amazing Physical Therapists, Massage Therapists, meditation and my yoga practice. They taught me the inseparable connection of Body to Mind to Heart & Spirit and how important this connection is to not just our physical, but psychological and spiritual health.
“The Body is a gateway drug to the Mind and Soul” – Lauri Glenn
These continuing lessons have brought me so much joy and truly Awakened me to the realization that I AM RESPONSIBLE for my own health, for my own happiness, for my own healing. And for how I choose to interact in the world around me. In OWNING that responsibility, I am empowered to consciously choose how I want to live each and every moment of my life.
Will I live In fear and pain? Or in Love and joy? In doubt and remorse? Or in trust and forgiveness? I CHOOSE. Will I choose lack and regret? Or abundance and adventure? I CHOOSE. And so can you. Certainly, the choosing may involve fear, pain, challenge, discomfort, doubt, and the CHOICE might require a lot of really hard work on many levels. But every moment of pure joy, unfettered freedom, and Awakening clarity makes it SO worth the work.
I am excited about sharing that knowledge, on even the smallest level, with the people I’m honored to work with. Whether I get to help someone rehab a torn ACL, prep for an upcoming IronMan, massage away the tension from a hard days work, or tap into a deeper place of connection with a few yoga poses, conscious breathing, or a meditation. Whatever it is we are doing, I’m honored to help each person I work with Explore & Discover how to Awaken their OWN unique path to their healthiest, happiest lives.
