May is Metta Month. Metta is the Pali word for Friendliness or Loving-Kindness, a meditation practice that cultivates care, kindness and most importantly Connection.
Please join in Community Connection as sit together for a lightly guided meditation that begins with simply building presence, then opens to Loving-Kindness/Metta practice.
Metta helps us to see the “goodness” in each other, to sense our interdependence, and to cultivate kind compassion. It’s a powerful practice, one that our world can use more than ever as we see how what we do individually affects the collective, yet lines of division are still being drawn and defended, often not so kindly. Like water, metta is powerful in it’s patience, strength, flexibility and resilience. Just think how water shapes rock over time and the immense power of the ocean.
My heart would be so warmed to “see” you there. And the hearts of all beings everywhere will benefit from your practice.
