What is Yoga Nidra?
Deep Rest, Healing, Transformation & Conscious Creation
A practice arguably over 5000 years old, Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness achieved through deep relaxation, dropping you into theta and delta brainwaves while remaining lightly aware. It is a place where we can tap into intuition, resolve unconscious, and subconscious patterning, and optimize our healing process with deep rest and revitalization of energy, as well as consciously create a life of meaning, purpose and vitality for ourselves. It helps to balance our nervous systems and unwind old patterns to create healthier ones.
Strongly supported by scientific research, Yoga Nidra is used effectively for the following:
–reducing stress
–easing insomnia
–creating more focus, calm, and clarity
–relieving stress/tension to promote deep rest and healing
–unwinding negative habits/patterns of action and thought.
–alleviating symptoms from common diseases and disorders such as: PTSD, autoimmune disease, Diabetes, cardiac conditions, substance abuse, hypertension, anxiety and depression disorders and more.
Yoga Nidra is easy to do, readily accessible , and can illicit profound positive results in healing and quality of life.
Private Sessions
Sessions are approximately 75 minutes. If you’d like an extended session, just inquire. Each private session will consist of an intake process so I can better understand your current circumstances and your needs for the session. That will be followed up by a gentle movement practice to prep for Yoga Nidra and then you will be led through a guided and recorded Yoga Nidra session, customized to your needs. You will receive the recording via a downloadable link for you to continue to use in your home practice. I usually suggest sticking to one practice for a minimum of one month, often longer depending on your circumstances.

Lauri Glenn is a Certified Classical Yoga Nidra Facilitator & Yoga Nidra Advanced studies instructor. She is a Mindfulness meditation coach/trainer, yoga teacher trainer & has been a presenter at the Wanderlust Festival Squaw Valley, Envision Festival in Costa Rica & the Restorative Arts & Yoga Festival in Lake Tahoe, Ca. As a faculty member of the Alaya Yoga School, she also teaches advanced trainings in Yoga Nidra. Private Yoga Nidra sessions are 60-75 minutes.
